Custom Name Silhouette 0 comments

Just finished this adorable name silhouette. You can’t see it in the photo, but Emma Jane has been cut from a pearlized paper. It has this really cool green & gray iridescent shimmer to it. The polka dot background from My Mind’s Eye {one of my favorite paper companies} has a very cool vintage look. She also got jewels to indicate the paints on her paint palette. Lucky girl — it turned out beautiful!

As soon as I figure out how on earth to set them up as a custom order, I may put them on Etsy. The hardest part was finding the frame. An 8 x 10 worked fine, but it took some tinkering to get the art to fit nicely. Since the name is 3-dimensional, the depth of the opening has to be enough so the artwork doesn’t get smashed against the glass. I think next time I may take a shot at using old painted/distressed wood to make the frame.

p.s. Watch for a new logo to come very soon!
