Here is a 5 x 7" invitation that I recently hand-lettered. This was going to be for a party at a nearby observatory, but because of rainy weather the date kept changing. So, long story short, the invitation was never used.
Well, all is not lost. Wouldn’t this also be a fun invitation for a summertime meteor shower party? Have your kids invite their friends, bring their sleeping bags, binoculars, sky charts and refreshments and let them (try to) stay up till dawn. The Perseids meteor shower will be happening around August 10-11th this year, in the height of summer. Seriously, go mark it on your calendars now.
